Privacy Policy — LaunchMaster Studio

The short version: Your App Store Connect and Google Play credentials are stored locally on your device and never leave it. We collect only what's necessary to run your account and improve the app — your email address, subscription status, and anonymized usage events. We do not sell your data.

1 Who We Are

NetXSoft is the developer and publisher of LaunchMaster Studio, a desktop application for managing App Store and Google Play listings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the app or visit our website.

2 Data We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide and improve the service.

We do not collect:

Your App Store Connect API keys or private keys
Your Google Play service account credentials
Your app names, descriptions, screenshots, or any metadata you manage in the app
Your financial or banking information (payments are handled entirely by Stripe)

3 Local Storage

LaunchMaster Studio stores sensitive data on-device only. ✓ Stays on your machine

The following is encrypted with SQLCipher in a local database and is never transmitted to any server:

App Store Connect API key ID, issuer ID, and private key (.p8)
Google Play service account JSON credentials
All app metadata, screenshots, and pricing data you work on
Project configurations and settings

The encryption key for the local database is derived from your device and stored securely in the system keychain. NetXSoft has no technical ability to access this data.

4 How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

Authentication: to verify your identity when you sign in.
Subscription management: to activate and validate your Pro license.
Product improvement: anonymized analytics help us understand which features are used, identify pain points, and prioritize the roadmap.
Stability: crash reports help us reproduce and fix bugs faster.
Customer support: if you contact us, we may use your email to follow up.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving LaunchMaster Studio.

5 Third-Party Services

We use the following sub-processors. Each has its own privacy policy linked below.

Authentication & subscription data

Stores your email address and subscription record. Hosted on AWS (us-east-1). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Payment processing

Handles all payment transactions inside the app. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Firebase Analytics

Anonymized usage analytics

Collects anonymized events (screen views, feature usage, publish outcomes). No personally identifiable app content is included. Active on macOS only.

Crash reporting

Collects anonymized crash traces including OS version and app version. No user content or credentials are included in crash reports.

We do not share your personal data with any other third party except as required by law.

6 Analytics in Detail

On macOS, the app uses Firebase Analytics to log the following event types:

Session events: app open, login method, sign-up method
Navigation: which screens are visited
Feature usage: which features are viewed (e.g. metadata editor, screenshot designer, pricing tool)
Publish operations: whether a publish to App Store or Google Play succeeded or failed, and which operation type was attempted (no app content is included)
Subscription funnel: pricing page views, upgrade clicks, purchase started / succeeded / failed

Analytics events are associated with a randomly-generated Firebase installation ID, not your email address. We cannot link an analytics event back to a specific user. Analytics is not available on Windows.

7 Data Retention

Account data (email, subscription) is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your data from Supabase within 30 days.
Analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
Payment records are retained by Stripe as required for financial compliance (typically 7 years).
Local data on your device is under your control. Uninstalling the app removes the encrypted database.

8 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: request that we delete your account and associated personal data.
Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection: object to processing of your data for certain purposes.

9 Children's Privacy

LaunchMaster Studio is intended for use by app developers and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
